Pork & Rum: Our Inaugural Dining Event


Beautiful pictures from Felicia Perry-Trujillo of Food Seen showcasing our first dining event, entitled: Pork & Rum. We collaborated with Piedmont Restaurant's Chef John May and Gentry & Rebecca Lassiter of Knightdale's Lassiter Distilling.

Based on a conversation from episode 70 featuring Lassiter Distillery, we compared rum to pork.

Pork is the other white meat and rum is the other white spirit. Gin=Fish | Vodka=Chicken | Whiskey=Beef... see, it works.
